UNIX PROGRAMMER

Strong UNIX shell scripting experience in a large scale distributed computing environment.

Experience in a mixed UNIX and Windows environment.

A self-motivated individual, who is punctual, detailed oriented, has strong organizational skills and is able to follow task/issues through to completion with little supervision.

This contractual position is responsible to build and technically administer new and legacy on any of the following platforms: HPUX, Sun Solaris and AIX running WebSphere, Sun Iplanet, BEA Tuxedo.

The candidate should understand how to troubleshoot and maintain applications and be quickly able to engage appropriate resources to resolve tasks/issues/defects.

The position requires extensive interaction within the UNIX environment.

The candidate must be familiar with UNIX commands, tools and shell scripting languages.

The candidate will berequired to review release notes, coordinate/orchestrate issue resolution incorporating SME input from multiple teams within the Technology sector.

It is expected that this individual possess 6- 8 years relevant industryexperience.

The position will be in support on one of the 24 X 7 shifts.
