VBA Excel Developer with Derivatives

Qualifications • College degree, or

specialized training or equivalent work

experience

? One year of experience in a production

application support role. 

? One year of financial industry support

experience.

? Understanding of the derivatives business,

securities processing, position and P&L

management, some risk management

? Working knowledge of VBA for Excel, SQL is

required

? Working knowledge of Access, Perl, UNIX skills

strongly preferred. Other technical skills

(Websphere, Informatica, Applix, Citrix) a plus.

 

? Strong research, investigation and evaluation

skills, with a structured approach to problem

solving.

? Effective skill and experience regarding system

behavior and resolution.

? Strong system analytic ability and practices.

 

? Ability to identify and clearly communicate

problems/support requests in order to influence

the prioritization of production defects and/or

enhancements.

? Proven ability as a member of a team to

communicate technical and production-related

concepts to a broad range of technical and

non-technical staff.

? Ability to work and effectively prioritize in a

highly dynamic work environment that includes a

global focus.

? Excellent communication skills, both written

and oral

? Results oriented and highly flexible.
