VP, Associate Project Manager - Collections Strategy, Risk Management

The position requires managing analytic projects from conception to rollout. These projects will include:

1. Identifying new treatments and efficiencies in collections

2. Developing models to segment accounts based on risk and collection treatment efficiency

3. Designing champion/challenger collection strategies

4. Performing hypothesis testing to decision impact from new treatments

5. Forecasting financial impacts from treatments at program rollout

6. Representing Risk Management on inter-departmental Process Teams

7. Participate in creating system requirements for new collections strategies

8. Collecting and interpreting data for ad hoc projects

9. Evaluating effectiveness of current collection policies and strategies

10. Researching and applying new statistical techniques that can improve predictive power of models 11. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of software applications, data sources, and variable characteristics




Qualifications include a graduate degree in Statistics, Economics, Agricultural Economics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Physics, or a related field. Minimum 4-6 years Cards related experience or 7+ years related analytic experience using quantitative analysis, preferably in a risk context. Three years experience in statistical modeling with working knowledge of at least one of the following statistical software packages: SAS (preferred), SPSS, Statistica, S+ or some equivalent. Ability to independently develop robust statistical models. Experience with SQL programming in a UNIX environment will also be helpful. TRIAD/ACS knowledge will be useful. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have demonstrable analytic, project management, and strategic planning skills.
