VP Commercial Loan Officer

OutHire, an executive search firm, has been asked by a local growing bank to recruit a VP Commercial Loan Officer. The right candidate will have 5+ years in a senior level commercial lending role along with previous management experience. Obtain applications for commercial loan business. Review customer financial conditions and assesses the customer"&tm;s ability to re-pay the loan. Make underwriting decisions within approval authority. Participate in developing lending and deposit business for the bank. Increase business by calling on existing clients and prospects to expand the banks client base. Evaluate, train, supervise and direct department personnel. Represent the bank as appropriate in its relationship with customers and business, community, and civic organizations, as well as supplies, other financial institutions and other similar groups. Analyze loan data and reports for any corrective actions.

Required Skills:
Minimum 5 years experience in a commercial lending role with previous management experience. Bachelors Degree required. Extensive knowledge of commercial and real estate lending practices and procedures. Must have experience analyzing business financial statements and assessing the viability of business.
