Manage a group of employees, regional branches and vendors for a national wholesale lending and correspondent lending platform ensuring a high level of service and quality based on regulatory, agency, investor, mortgage insurance and Webster Bank standards and guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES
' Management oversight for the mortgage wholesale branches and correspondent lending unit making recommendations regarding hiring, termination, performance appraisals, salary administration, training, and disciplinary action;

' Management oversight for all day to day operations and functions for the Wholesale regional branches and correspondent lending unit. Current locations include Cheshire, Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix and Seattle;

' Establishes and monitors controls to ensure that consistent conventional and government credit decisions are made and meets multiple investor and governmental underwriting standards;

' Troubleshoot problem loans or service issues ensuring resolution between all parties involved in the process;

' Establish and monitor controls to ensure all loans comply with state and federal regulatory requirements;

' Ensure updates concerning policies and procedures are disseminated to all employees and applicable customers;

' Act as a liaison between vendors, investors, insurance companies, contractors and brokers for efficient process flows, data communication and service opportunities/issues;

' Stays abreast of investor, agency, and mortgage insurance requirements as well as business and technology trends;

' Manage such other related projects as may be required.

The incumbent must possess 7 years experience in managing multiple regional offices for a national wholesale platform that includes oversight of all processing, underwriting and closing areas.

Understanding of multiple investor and regulatory requirements. Must be able to identify/implement efficiencies in business and technology practices in order to support a national wholesale/broker network. Must be able to organize and prioritize own work and work of others independently. Demonstrated leadership, written and verbal communication skills and ability to independently set and manage to tight deadlines.
