Vice President of Commercial Lending

Our Client of San Diego is a business-oriented financial institution whose mission is to offer a full range of banking, investment and wealth-management services to private and closely held small to medium-sized businesses, their executives and self employed professionals in San Diego County. Our Client will help these businesses flourish by furnishing credit, cash management and investment services that will enable them to grow and compete against larger competitors.

 

 

MISSION:

 

Our intent is to build a business-oriented, community-based financial institution that combines traditional deposit and credit products with business banking services to accelerate the growth and stability of our clients, and then to protect and preserve that wealth through investment and estate planning.

 

 

 

Specific Responsibilities Include:

 

 3 to 5 years commercial & industrial lending experienceProven ability to develop new businessProven ability to cross sell other bank productsStrong contacts in related fields (referral network, CPA?s etc)Able to exceed annual loan goals ($6-$8million loans)Deposit gathering expectations ($3-$4 million core)Ability to handle loans from start to finish (sale, negotiation of terms, underwriting and relationship management)Ability to work independently

 

 

 

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED:

 

? At least 3 years prior experience serving public finance clients or working in a public finance organization

 

? A strong working knowledge of all products and facets of a bank.

 

? Bachelor degree required, Masters degree preferred

 

? Strong computer proficiency, especially in the use of Internet and Microsoft Office application suite

COMPENSATION:

 

  Compensation for this position will consist of a competitive base salary plus commission, which are commensurate with the successful candidate?s experience level and qualifications.
