Wholesale Mortgage Account Executive- L.A., Calif

Position Summary:

An Account Executive/Product and Technology Consultant (PTC) develops business relationships and solicits a wide variety of wholesale residential mortgage loan products and services through the Banks extensive network of correspondents and brokers.  Assumes full responsibility for assigned accounts to include educating the clients in every aspect of the business relationship for the L.A.,California market

 

Essential Functions:Interview prospective client; learns and analyzes the client's business model and offers consultation as to what products and services can best suit the clients' business needsPromotes the various features and benefits of establishing/maintaining a business relationship with the Company.Responsible for maximizing profitability by having a complete understanding of the customers business model.Acts as a primary liaison between client base and internal operations, ensuring client is being serviced properly.Ensures that assigned accounts meet the Company's performance and compliance standards such as pull-through, early payoffs, invoices and operational performance.Focuses on assigned corporate objectives as determined by management and general market conditions.Generates, maintains, and submits quarterly profile of all active customersTravels daily within assigned geographic territory.Trains and educates assigned clients on all aspects of the business relationship to include operations, products, pricing,technology.Responsible for continuing education on new products/services and other general information of interest to customers.Performs other duties as assigned.
 

Education and experience: Bachelor?s degree in related field or equivalent lending experience in a financial institution.Minimum two years direct sales experience in a mortgage banking environment, preferably in residential wholesale lending. 

 

Knowledge, skills and abilities:Thorough knowledge of, and the ability to apply concepts to all aspects of residential mortgage lending, originations, and operation delivery.Possesses refined marketing skills that can be applied to the wholesale lending environment. PC literacy; proficiency with Microsoft Office productsStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong presentation skills to include group presentations.  Strong client relations skills.  Ability to make sound individual evaluations of prospective clients. Ability to relate to the client and demonstrate how the Company can serve their needs.  Ability to present a confident, knowledgeable and professional image.  Ability to travel locally and overnight within assigned geographic region.  Ability to completely understand customers business model
