Job Description: Create and execute project and experimental plans related to lubricious coatings of catheter devices. Provide leadership in developing fundamental understanding of current material systems, as well as technical expertise in identifying and developing next-generation materials technology to advance coronary and peripheral vascular catheter device performance. Strong understanding of analytical techniques, DOE methodology, and medical devices is required. Strong project management and communication skills required.
This position requires a Master's degree (PhD preferred) in Chemical Engineering or Polymer Science plus 9+ years of hands-on experience in coatings development and testing. Candidates must have strong leadership, teamwork, and technology development skills.
