AD/Director of Formulations

Our Client is biotech company focused on the discovery and development of new antibacterial agents, We are looking for an outstanding scientist as Associate Director/Director, Formulation Research and Development, reporting to the Vice President, Drug Development.

 

Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have experience in the development of solution and solid dosage forms, bringing to bear solid principles in preformulation chemistry, physical pharmacy, dosage form design, characterization, and manufacture.
Knowledge in techniques for characterization, protocols for stability of drug product formulations is required.
Experience in development of an aerosol respiratory dosage form is strongly preferred.
Knowledge and practice of cGMPs and other manufacturing processes is also preferred.

 

Job Requirements:
Ph.D. in chemistry, the pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field, and at least eight (8) years of relevant industrial experience, or a Master?s degree in the fields above with over ten (10) years of industrial experience is required. 
Candidate must possess a strong track record of continued success, having worked in increasingly responsible positions throughout his/her career.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. 
Candidate must be a hands-on, self directed scientist who is able to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
