ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR SITE DATA MANAGEMENT

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include supervision and coordination of project work
assignments and performance for Clinical Site and Data Managers through
interaction with functional and project management teams. Will participate in
the career development activities for Site and Data Managers including the
orientation, training, and mentoring of individuals and provision of coaching,
counseling, and feedback as well as participate in the recruitment and
retention of quality clinical research professionals. Will work with RCO
management to develop strategic focus for RCO organization, creating and
contributing to process change and improvement. Collaborates with Director in
department resource projections and evaluations leverages and redeploys
resources in line with project priorities and timelines. The candidate must
demonstrate technological expertise and understanding of the business process
implications of selected computer applications and effectively communicate with
individuals at all levels of the organization. Exceptional organizational and
planning skills and independent decision making abilities are critical. In
addition, the Associate Director will assist the Department Director in
leadership, administrative and planning tasks.

Job Requirements/Education:

Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8 years pharmaceutical industry related
experience. Experience as a Senior Clinical Site or Data Manager or equivalent
in the pharmaceutical industry. Extensive experience in the planning, conduct,
and management of studies in a clinical program from study startup to
regulatory submission. The candidate must have effectively performed department
management activities, including resource management and staffing, performance
management, staff training and development, and specified fiscal
responsibilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including
situations of conflict resolution, problem solving, and crisis management are
required. Experience working in, and managing professionals in a complexmatrix
environment is desirable.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
