ASSOCIATE RESEARCH SCIENTIST

Job Responsibilities:

The candidate will develop and refine bench scale processes for producing new
drug or medical imaging kit products so that they will be suitable for
commercial manufacturing facilities. The candidate will conduct experiments to
assess the manufacturability of a given formulation or kit product by using
appropriate in line, on line and off line analyses at the Pilot Plant scale.
The candidate will be responsible for the analysis of the data generated from
these experiments using appropriate mathematical models, communicate the
technical information to colleagues and management to support IND and NDA
filings. The candidate will operate as the technical liaison for the Research
and Development organization in the technology transfer of the manufacturing
process to receiving commercial facility.

Job Requirements/Education:

Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Science emphasis on manufacturing
process for parenteral or Chemical Engineering with a emphasis on radio
pharmaceuticals, in a program requiring thesis presentation defense. One year
of experience in conducting process development studies at the Pilot Plant
scale. One year of experience in working with computer systems and software,
such as JMP, SAS, Mathcad or equivalent for analysis of raw data in
manufacturing process of pharmaceutical products. One year of experience in
making presentations to colleagues and senior executive management. Able and
willing to work with radiochemical compounds.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
