Account Executive - New York - Dermatology

POSITION TITLE:  ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - RETAIL

 

REPORTING TO: AREA BUSINESS MANAGER

 

LOCATIONS:  NEW YORK, NY and surrounding areas

 SUMMARY

Valeant Pharmaceutical International, parent company of Kinerase, is expanding in to the retail channel. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished professional to represent the Kinerase brand to top retail partners and to open new doors within a high profile territory. We seek a highly motivated, enterprising, self-directed individual with a successful sales history preferably within the industry. This position will require some overnight travel.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, day-to-day management, training, and overall sales results of this territory.

Responsibilities include:

-  Increase sales and achieve targeted sales growth for territory retail doors.

-  Establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships with retail partners, store management, prospective business partners, and corporate personnel.

-  Educate, train, and develop strong sales staff through innovative programs, store visits, and effective communication.

-  Plan and execute effective in-store events which will drive revenue and support marketing objectives.

-  Ongoing assessment and evaluation of each doors sales performance, sales strategy, and training efforts.

 QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

-  2+ years in skin care, retail, or related experience

-  Must have experience in field sales, training, and/or retail management (preferably with specialty retailers in the skin care / beauty industry).

-  Proven track record of sales success and exceeding targets

-  Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills.

-  Experience in developing business plans, managing budgets, and working with multiple business groups.

-  Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

-  Professional presence, positive attitude, and strong leadership skills are required.

-  Bachelor?s degree in Business, Science or related field required.
