I am currently in search of a Marketing Analytics Manager to fill a newly created position.

Title:   Advanced Marketing Analytics Manager (new position)

Reports to:  Associate Director, Marketing Analytics

Salary Range:  $100,000 - $130,000 base, plus bonus

Direct Reports: Yes 

RESPONSIBILITIES:Identify and direct the development of in-house competencies for advanced analytics by conducting higher level segmentation strategies (longitudinal & share trend), ROI modeling of marketing programs, neural network modeling, factor analysis, probabilistic modeling for physician scoring, promotion-response and promotion mix models Work closely with brand management (including senior management) to identify complex information needs to be addressed with advanced analytics.  Apply knowledge of tools, department resources, and data sources to meet the information requirements. Understand requirements of sales force management Participate in cross functional information sharing discussions Develop and automate complex analytical models for Marekting Analytics team members to readily produce information for brand management to address ad hoc requests and larger scale projects Provide timely, systematic and thorough advanced analytical solutions to requests Provide insight into best practices Share knowledge of applications of information across brands Anticipate information requirements from senior management and provide answers to complex questions Lead cross functional projects to incorporate multiple sources of information into mjaor advanced analytical devlierables to address business issues of brand management Manage, train and coach team analyst to run complex analytical models as linear and non-linear regression and perform Bayesian naalysis in SAS or with other statistical platforms Provide support to other customers such as market research, forecasting, speaker programs and outside vendors

REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred; Ph.D a plus Pharmaceutical experience required (don't apply if you don't have it)5+ years experience Advanced analytical skill set Prior management experience, or demonstrated proof ready for that step Brand or Product Management experience Knowledge of common pharmaceutical data sources (i.e., Xponent, Longitudinal Patient Data, DDD) Ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas, facts and technical information to Product Management team, as well as other internal customers both verbally and written Excellent presentation skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Significant experience with Excel, Access, Powerpoint.  Cognos Impromptu, Siebel e-Pharma and SAS a plus Demonstrated ability to identify and define problems, evaluate alternatives and implement effective solutions Ability to be exacting, thorough and attentive to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities Cross functional team experience
