Analytical Chemist - Method Development
On Assignment Lab Support has multiple contract and permanent openings for:
Analytical Chemist(s) ? Method Development
Responsibilities
Research and development of multiple analytical methods.
Characterization and analysis using HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, NIR, wet chemistry and other laboratory test techniques. Basic instrument troubleshooting as required
Execute validation protocols for test methods and support results with technical development, verification and validation reports
Write, review and implement appropriate documentation as needed to maintain regulatory compliance.
Write new standard operating procedure (SOP?s), analytical test methods and validation protocols.
Work independently with minimal supervision, and within a group.
Requirements
PhD/MS in Chemistry or related field with 0 - 2 years of industry experience
Or BS in Chemistry or related field with absolute minimum of 3 (5+ preferred)years of related work experience.
Thorough understanding of Lab Safety, GLP, GMPs, SOP?s and Internal audits
Expert with HPLC and GC instrumentation: HP/Agilent, Waters, PE or other.
Expert with related software packages: Chemstation, Millenium, Empower, Turbochrom, or other.
Candidate should be ambitious, industrious and have an outgoing personality.
Excellent oral and written communications skills are essential.
Familiarity with SLIM/SLIMSTAT+ would be a plus.
