We have an outstanding career opportunity for a successful Analytical Research & Development Manager located in our Pomona, New York offices.

Responsibilities include:

Responsible for directing the work of a team of analytical chemists to meet project deadlines
Provide technical training to chemists
Maintain lab equipment and supplies, and select/purchase new equipment as required
Handle investigations and deviations
Review and approve specification sheets, analytical methods and SOPs
Respond to internal audits
Other responsibilities as required
Develop individuals and foster teamwork
Manage multiple projects and to be able to prioritize work in order to meet project deadlines
Accountable for ensuring that projects are completed on time and within the budget


Position Requirements include:

BS/MS with a minimum of 7 years pharmaceutical experience, or a PhD with a minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical experience
2 years minimum supervisory experience
Advanced instrumentation skills including HPLC; LC/MS; Dissolution; GC/MS; capillary electrophoresis, and other modern analytical techniques
Demonstrated knowledge of FDA and GMP regulations, ICH guidance and USP
Excellent verbal and written skills necessary to facilitate communication with other technical groups
