The Application Developer II is responsible for providing quality technology solutions to address business needs by developing/enhancing applications.

Specific responsibilities include:

Interpreting business requirements and defining technical alternatives, tools, and approach.

Developing, testing, implementing and documenting the technical solution to address the defined business requirements.

Work with other team members to define effort estimates, timetables and project plans.

Participate with the development team and IT staff as appropriate in the design of solutions.

Collaborating with other technical areas to integrate across tiers, platforms, and responsibilities.

Ensure all expected application performance levels are achieved.

Planning and conducting module and basic integration testing.

Managing technical aspects of application to ensure timely and effective implementations.

Understanding and complying to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.

Self-led with the occasional responsibility to lead.

Receives limited instruction on routine work, defined instruction on new assignments.

This position requires weekend and evening hours as well as occasional global travel.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree required.

A minimum of three years of experience working in systems development required.

Ability to solve technical problems/issues on multiple platforms.

Demonstrated technical experience in the following:

Object-oriented analysis and design techniques.

UML Modeling (Activity Diagram, Class Diagram, Sequence Diagram, Collaboration Diagram, Use Case Diagram, Deployment Diagram, etc).

Creation of software architecture documents or other design artifacts.

.NET technology (C#, Remoting/Web Services, .NET Assemblies, Windows Forms, ASP, IIS, SQL Server, etc.) with in depth knowledge of .NET framework libraries and/or Java technology (J2SE, J2EE, JSP, SOAP, Swing) with in depth knowledge of Core Java APLs.
