Applications/ Pilot Plant Technologist

This opportunity allows you to use your professional experience outside the office as well as in the plant by screening and running new equipment.

 

Job Description:
- Assist Sr. Food Technologist and/or Project Leaders in prototype development activities
- Run all existing pilot plant equipment as needed by applications and product development groups, flavor chemists and culinary group
- Screen any new equipment to process and package per product type needs to expand pilot plant capability
- Provide technical information on processes and packaging to all company departments as necessary
- Participate in all internal sensory panels
- Participate as requested in professional outside activities including annual company road show

 

Requirements:
- BS Food Science or related science
- 1-2 years industry experience with emphasis in Food Processing and Food Packaging
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills required
