Applied Statistician

This position will provide statistical expertise to our Diabetes Care Operations.  Includes providing expertise in statistical techniques and predictive methods such as Statistical Inference, Tolerance Analysis, Design of Experiments, SPC and Process Capability analysis to characterize processes for optimal control; providing statistical problem solving expertise in collaboration with Quality Engineering to resolve manufacturing issues and conduct extensive data mining to determine process trends or shifts; providing statistical support to other functions and other business units; and coaching and training engineers on applied statistical tools and techniques.


Minimum requirements include a M.S. in Statistics or Applied Math and 2 years experience in a regulated industry applying statistical techniques in a process development and manufacturing environment. SAS programming experience preferred.
