Assistant/Associate Director, Medical Affairs

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY :   The primary responsibilities for this position are to manage the strategic and tactical operations for internal medicine-related (IM) therapeutics (e.g., anti-infectives, beta-blockers, bronchodilators).  This involves coordination with outside publication agencies and partner companies, oversight of the development of manuscript, posters, presentation, and symposia, and working closely with internal commercial and regulatory stakeholders. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES:
Management of IM therapeutic publications
Work within guidance of ICJME
Medical review of commercial materials
Reviewer of investigated initiated trials
Liaison to partner companies, with respect to publications
Providing strategic input to further disseminate information derived from trial data
Maintain effective working relationships with external experts
Presentations at congresses, external and internal meetings, training events, advisory boards

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Medical Degree or PhD
Prior Medical Affairs experience
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Excellent ability to communicate clear message
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
