Assistant/Associate Scientist-Flu

Job Description

This position will work under the direction of a PhD level scientist in performing a variety of virus and cell based laboratory techniques. This position will focus on working with avian strains of influenza to determine the feasibility of their use in developing human flu vaccines.

Education Bachelors Degree -- Any

Skills

* BS/MS in Biology or related field with 3-5 years of experience is required.
* Ability to perform research activities involving specialized laboratory equipment.
* Competent in written and oral communications.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
