Assistant Director, Pharmacy

We have an immediate opportunity for an Assistant Director, Pharmacy.

 

You will be expected to: assist in the managing and supervision of the daily operations of the Department of Pharmacy; maintain awareness of trends in pharmaceutical activities; participate in conferences & workshops; ensure staff receive mandated inservicing in Safety, QA, Risk Management, Customer Service, Infection Control, etc; participate in multidisciplinary task forces, committees and projects, as well as provide inservice training and maintenance of clinical standards.

 

Requires: Degree from a 5-year program at an approved college of pharmacy or equivalent plus Masters degree in Pharmacy; current NJ registration or eligible as a licensed pharmacist; minimum 5 years experience in a hospital pharmacy, as well as strong written, verbal and analytical skills.
