Position Description:

Perform routine LC-UV-MS including: purity analysis by UV chromatography, re-analysis by alternate MS methods as required, generation of PDF reports, and recording of result in LIMS. Additional responsiblities can include: maintenance of open access LC-MS system, training of chemist on use of open access LC-MS systems, and QC analysis of screening hits by high through-put LC-UV-MS.

Qualifications:

Knowledge/Skills
Candidate must have strong skills and knowledge on how to use common office productivity products (windows, word, and especially Excel). Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and have the desire to work in a team environment

Formal Education/Experience
Bachelors degree i chemistry, with an emphasis on Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or both. 1-3 years experience in LC-MS or organic synthesis is desired, but not required.
