Assoc Dir/Director, CMC Team Leader
Department: Product Development

Your responsibilities will include leading Amylin's CMC Development Team and co-leading the Alliance's CMC Team. You will be responsible for making sure that CMC development activities supporting Byetta are completed in a quality manner and are coordinated to complement the efforts between Amylin?s and Lilly?s PD and R&D teams. You will also represent CMC on the Project Team. A successful candidate will interface with all Product Development lines, Technical Services, CMC Regulatory, and Quality to ensure that timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and mitigation plans are strategically developed, networked, and executed.

 

Requirements include:

? A Ph.D or equivalent experience in a related discipline

? A minimum of ten years of relevant and increasingly responsible experience

? The ability to think strategically and conceptually with a broad understanding of the drug development process from research through to commercialization

? A thorough understanding of issues related to successful product development

? Knowledge of global requirements for pharmaceutical commercial drugs and devices is essential

? A proven track record of new product planning, development and implementation and delivering quality and timely results

? Experience working within business alliances
