General Description: Incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and developing an organization responsible for providing high-quality, state-of-the-art optical and mechanical test methods compliant with all regulations; and providing timely reports resulting from the appropriate testing and/or analysis..

Minimum Qualifications: Preferred degrees include a Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering, BioMedical Engineering or Physics. Experience factors typically are related to prior scientific/technical achievements, background in management of a scientific/technical function, and accomplishments in positions of leadership. This experience includes having demonstrated effective management and leadership of high quality medical device testing and reporting in a challenging and highly dynamic technical environment. The number of years of work experience since obtaining the last degree is typically 6 to 11 years.
