Associate Manager of Training & Compliance

ASSOCIATE MANAGER, COMPLIANCE AND TRAINING IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SETTING APPROPRIATE GMP GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES COMPLIANCE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES BASED ON PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF GOVERNMENTAL REGULATIONS AND COMPANY GMP COMPLIANCE STANDARDS. ENSURES ADHERENCE TO CORPORATE STANDARDS. COLLABORATES WITH NECESSARY GROUPS TO STAY ABREAST WITH COMPANY AND INDUSTRY ACTIVITIES TO ENSURE THAT THE BUSINESS UNIT MAINTAINS AN EXEMPLARY RECORD WITH RESPECT TO GMP COMPLIANCE AND EMPLOYS LEADING MANAGEMENT PRACTICES. BUILDS AND MAINTAINS STRONG CREDIBLE RELATIONSHIPS WITH INTERNAL GROUPS AND OUTSIDE AGENCIES. IMPLEMENTS AN EFFECTIVE STRATEGY TO ADDRESS GMP COMPLIANCE ISSUES. PROVIDES EDUCATION OF GMPS AS THEY RELATE TO ESC PRODUCTION. DEVELOPS AND IMPLEMENTS REQUIRED REGULATORY TRAINING SYLLABUS, MEETING TRAINING COURSE CONTENT, AND METRICS TO MONITOR EDUCATION COMPLETION. COORDINATES ANNUAL COMPLIANCE.

 

Must have strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP's, FDA and knowledge designing and conducting training programs.

 

Position Requirements:

BS DEGREE WITH A MINIMUM OF 3 TO 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A FDA REGULATED FOOD INDUSTRY, PROCESS OR PACKAGING AREAS, PREFERABLY IN A POWDER OR LIQUID FACILITY. EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH AND INTERPRETING GMPS AND OTHER REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS THAT IMPACT A NUTRITIONAL MANUFACTURING FACILITY. EXPERIENCE IN DESIGNING, DEVELOPING AND CONDUCTING GMP COMPLIANCE AND OR OTHER TRAINING PROGRAMS. EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH HACCP AS TEAM MEMBER OR TEAM LEADER. DEMONSTRATED ABILITY TO PLAN, COORDINATE AND ACHIEVE RESULTS IN AN ACCURATE, TIMELY MANNER AS IT PERTAINS TO TRAINING, REGULATORY AND GMP COMPLIANCE ISSUES AND ACTIVITIES. DEMONSTRATED ABILITY TO WORK WITH TEAMS, INFLUENCING AND MANAGING PEOPLE IN A CHANGING ENVIRONMENT TO DELIVER VALUE ADDED RESULTS. EXPERIENCE IN STRATEGY PLANNING, AS WELL AS PROGRAM AND PROCESS IMPLEMENTATION. EXPERIENCE WITH ANALYZING THE NEEDS OF AN ORGANIZATION AND TRAINING.
