ASSOCIATE MEDICAL PROGRAM MANAGER
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
? To provide support to the Medical Program Managers in tasks related to project execution
? To work with the Medical Coordinators in managing abstract-related material as required by the project
JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. DEPARTMENTAL ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
1.1. Creation of standard CME statements for specific educational projects
1.2. Creation of evaluation forms along with Medical Coordinator
1.3. Drafting of evaluation report through data entry for finalization by the Medical Program Manager
1.4. Proofing project-related material for print (announcements, summary books, etc)
1.5. Proofing presentation materials in-line with CME compliance standards
1.6. Assist the Medical Program Managers in tracking faculty for specific projects after invitation from the Medical Program Managers
2. PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1. Assist the Medical Program Managers and Senior Medical Director in tasks related to the actual execution of ongoing projects
2.2. Serve as on-site back-up replacement for Medical Program Managers
2.3. Be the on-site Medical representative for Satellite Symposia as necessary
2.4. Attend project team meetings as needed to assist the Medical Program Managers
3. IN-HOUSE MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES
3.1 Attend internal and external CME meetings, educational sessions, and training sessions as designated
3.2 Attend departmental meetings and off-site meetings as requested
3.3 Keep detailed records of nature and time spent on various tasks
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
? Minimum of advanced science degree such as RN, MS, etc.
? Familiarity with medical communication and medical education
? Familiarity with regulatory environment in pharmaceutical industry. Working knowledge of CME compliance standards considered a plus
? Knowledge of the scientific literature search engines
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
