Associate Product Manager-Laboratory Services

Are you currently selling in the life sciences or analytical markets or in the lab performing R&D?  Do you have an excellent business savvy and want to get into marketing, but not really sure how?  We are seeking an entry to mid-level Product Manager for our full line of laboratory services marketed to the Pharmaceutical, Life Science and Government industries. 

Company Description: My client is focused in the Life Science and Analytical Instrumentation industries. Combining operational excellence and technology expertise with an intimate understanding of their customers' needs, they provide products and services in the Health Sciences market that require innovation, precision and reliability. They are a leading provider of scientific instruments, consumables and services to the pharmaceutical, biomedical, environmental testing and general industrial markets.

 

Position Description:

 

? Responsibility for product line maintenance including business metric analysis, supporting product quality requirements, updating pricing, analyzing product costs and margin, etc?

? Consolidation and analysis of territorial voice of customer feedback

? Development and evaluation of positioning platforms

? Development of cross functional platforms

? Supply business owners with market, customer and competitor intelligence with recommendations for market expansion and/or segmentation

? Identify market trends and communicates with recommendations to business owners

? Plan joint marketing activities, including seminars, road shows, exhibitions and campaigns.

? Measures and reports on effectiveness of global marketing activities, events and campaigns, with the purpose of improving resource allocation, efficiency and revenue generation

 

 

Qualifications:

 

? BS or higher in chemistry or the life science industry; MBA preferred

? 2+ years of experience in the life science and/or analytical instrumentation/consumables industries

? Solid sales and marketing fundamentals

? Firm understanding of the pharmaceutical environment including compliance, GLP, GMP, validation, qualification, IQ/OQ/PQ and 21CFR part 11 compliance

? Must have excellent verbal and written communications and PowerPoint presentation skills

? Ability to travel 10% is required

 

 

Compensation and Benefits:

Total compensation will be commensurate with the experience, but should be expected to fall within $65,000-80,000
