BS/MS Research Associate - In vivo large animal pulmonary biology

Requisition Number: 16497BR



The successful candidate will support pre-clinical drug discover efforts in N-H Primate and canine models. Duties will include implementation and conduct of studies to characterize large animal models focusing on pulmonary disease.

Qualifications
BS or MS degree in Physiology, Pharmacology, Neuroscience, Animal Science or related discipline and 1-3 years of experience with in-vivo, large animal (non-human primates, canine) studies, preferably in the field of drug discovery. Experience with physiological monitoring of large animals is essential. Understanding of cardiovascular and lung function is desirable.

Excellent organizational ability and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Computer proficiency including the ability to work with computerized data acquisition and analysis software (spreadsheet and statistical packages), is highly desirable.
