Biostatistician-Pharmaceutical Industry

Our client is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company engaged in late stage trials for a drug to treat chronic disease. Our client is seeking a Biostatistician for their Bergen County, NJ office.

The ideal candidate for this role, must have prior experience developing study plans for individual clinical trials, including experimental design, randomization, sample size, parameters for analysis and methods of analysis. She/He must also have the ability to collaborate, in writing, study protocols and amendment(s), including responsibility for writing the data evaluation section, including sample size calculation and analysis plans.

In addition, the Biostatistician must have the ability to review CRF?s and ensure their design meets the protocol criteria, and contain all data required to support a high quality database and the planned analysis. Finally, the position requires the person to be able to review and approve listing table specifications jointly with Project Team, along with reviewing database design, data handling, editing and coding procedures; and develop and participate in programming development, as required.

MS in Biostatistics or related field, along with some prior relevant work experience, including SAS programming
