Duties and Responsibilities:

The Senior Product Manager will have the opportunity to lead the marketing program for a breakthrough first-in-class product in the oncology / hematology market.  In this high profile role, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and marketing for a novel compound used in Bone Marrow Transplant, and you will lead the Lifecycle planning activities for current and future indications for the drug.  Key duties include budgeting, forecasting, positioning, promotional strategy and managing agency relationships.  You will also lead cross-functional teams with Sales, Clinical, Regulatory and Medical Affairs as we expand the label for the drug. 

 

This is a leadership role in a specialized market, and you will work closely with international colleagues in Europe and Asia.  You will be presenting to senior management routinely and have the opportunity to make recommendations that will directly impact the bottom line of the organization.  In this relatively small biotech environment, you will be asked to ?wear many hats? in your day to day to duties, and our rapidly expanding organization means that significant opportunities exist for career development and advancement.  Overnight travel for this role is estimated at 25%.

 

Requirements Needed To Be Successful:

This is a crucial time in the evolution of our organization and we need a truly extraordinary person.  The successful candidate will have the following qualities:
3+ years of marketing experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
Specific marketing experience in the oncology, hematology or transplant market
Bachelor?s degree or better; MBA or advanced degree in the Life Sciences preferred
Excellent interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills
