Business Analyst III / Sr.

As a member of the IS Applications team, this position will have primary responsibility for leading software system projects in support of Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and other departments within the organization. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional project teams; developing project charters, plans, and budgets; gathering and analyzing system requirements executing on project plans to schedule; evaluating software packages from third-party vendors; working with software vendors and technical team members on installation, configuration, and problem resolution; communicating progress/issues to stakeholders and upper management; identifying and mitigating risks; and generating/reviewing required documentation. The successful candidate will also be relied on to provide leadership and mentoring to other members of the team, contribute to Applications group strategy and future project planning, and lead efforts to establish and implement consistent project management and system implementation methodologies throughout the team.

 

Requirements:Strong foundation in SDLC, business analysis and project management concepts, methodologies, and techniques.  Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or the Life Sciences. MS or MBA desired.Experience in IT and/or business transformation consulting within a Biotech / Biopharma organization desired. Business Partner/Customer-Focus with emphasis on customer success and solving customer problems.Excellent, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead, influence and motivate cross-functional teams.  Execution excellence with ability to deliver cross-functional projects start to finish, on time, on budget and with quality. Team-player that works well within team and across groups in the organization. Ability to efficiently prioritize and adapt to changes in priority.  Ability to maintain composure, enthusiasm, energy and focus in a variety of circumstances.Meeting facilitation skills including minutes, documentation and action item coordination. Experience with computer system validation and exposure to GxP, FDA 21CFR Part 11 regulations,GAMP4 and their impact on software systems desired.  Experience in a GMP-regulated environment desired.Business process analysis, redesign and implementation experience, with the ability evaluate and institute process improvements, desired.
