CLINICAL PROGRAM DIRECTOR

REQUIREMENTS:

▪ MD degree with sub-specialty training in Pulmonary/Critical care or Allergy/Immunology

▪ 3 years clinical experience in either subspecialty

▪ 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in scientific, strategic and operational aspects of clinical drug development programs

▪ Excellent communication skills

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

▪ Provide technical, strategic, and managerial leadership focused on product development within the respiratory therapeutic area.

▪ Primary oversight responsibility is to the clinical research/clinical operations staff and also will be expected to contribute to high level (corporate) scientific and operational decision making.

▪ Develop and maintain contact with external thought leaders and other key individuals

▪ Develop relationships and work cooperatively with colleagues in related operations (e.g. Clinical and Scientific Affairs-Respiratory; Research and Development-Respiratory, and Marketing-Respiratory.
