CLINICAL TRIALS ASSOCIATE II

Main Responsibilities:

-Working with the Business Unit Medical Director, Project Leader, and Statistician to design and author studies
-Selecting, evaluating, and training study sites
-Interacting with study site personnel and acquiring Investigator documents
-Writing various other study documents
-Interfacing with data management and statistics in developing CRF?s, managing data cleanup, and analyzing study data
-Facilitating IRB approval
-Maintaining study site contact information
-Tracking and facilitating enrollment
-Responding to monitoring report issues
-Tracking and managing study supply
-Performing other clinical trial management functions, as requested
-Maintain central study file, and maintaining any necessary planning databases concerning study status
-Also responsible for mentoring a CTA I
-Domestic travel should not exceed 15% on an as needed

Requirements:

Qualified applicants will possess an Undergraduate degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Veterinary Science or Life Science. Additionally, 2-4 years direct clinical trials experience, preferably in the Pharmaceutical or the Medical device industry is required.
Direct experience in clinical care setting highly desirable. Successful candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to perform well in a highly matrixed environment, and serve as an effective member of highly functioning multidisciplinary teams. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, should be highly organized, dynamic, confident, energetic, creative, and open to new experiences and ideas. The successful candidate must also demonstrate proficiency in using industry-standard word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
