CRA Staff Manager, Clinical Trials

Novum Pharmaceutical Research Services, one of the world?s largest providers in the testing of generic drugs, is looking for an individual with the above-mentioned skills to manage Clinical Research Associates at our Pittsburgh, Houston, and Las Vegas locations.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

GeneralProvides support, direction and day to day support for CRA?s  Serves as a mentor to each of the CRA?s. Works with team/project leaders to ensure adequate CRA levels are maintained to meet project goals.  Recruit, hire new CRA?s as neededEnsure CRA?s are getting appropriate training through both internal and external resources to be productive team members. Review CRA timesheets, sign off for absence, vacation, sickness.Ensure CRA?s are trained and follow company policies and procedures with respect to travel and other administrative requirements.Work with team leaders to ensure that project teams have the correct mix of skill sets, personalities, and knowledge for successful project completion.

 

Other Works closely with the Controllers and Human Resources to provide the necessary HR and Accounting support for operational and company excellence.  Assist in projects requested by Novum senior management.

 

Qualified applicants must have:

?  A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in a scientific/medical background and 5-10 years managerial experience in a multi-location service based environment. Experience must be supported by a formal management training program.

?  A proven track record of success providing leadership and mentoring to diverse group of employees.

?  Knowledge of Microsoft applications.

?  Availability to travel.
