Job Summary: This position provides customer support activities at client sites throughout the mid-Atlantic area. Calibrate, validate, repair and perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical and measuring of process and laboratory equipment and instrumentation.

 

Equipment Knowledge: The following is a partial list of process lab equipment you will be working on:AutoclavesStability Chambers, Incubators, Refrigerators, Freezers, CentrifugesAnalytical Equipment, SpectrophotometersMass Flow Meters and ControllersLab Equipment (Pipettes, Thermometers, Gauges, Recorders)Fermentors and bioreactorsProcess Controls, Analytical Instrumentation (ph/conductivity)

 

Experience, Education and Desired Skills

To be successful in this position candidate must have demonstrated:Analytical and troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of a broad spectrum of test and measurement equipmentComputer abilities; Microsoft officeCustomer and quality focused and possess strong communications skillsOrganizational abilities with a high attention to detail and be skilled at juggling a variety of tasks under tight deadlinesPMEL experience a plus

 

Experience: Candidates must have at least an Associates Degree and/or 3 years of demonstrated experience preferably in pharmaceutical or industrial instrumentation. We are looking for someone who likes to be busy, is willing to take on a tremendous amount of responsibility, has the technical ability to get the job done and knows how to deliver great customer service. Daily travel to/from customer sites is a key component of this position. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver?s license and clean driving record.
