Voor onze klant, een private owned en erkende Clinical Research Organization met eigen laboratoria actief in fase 2 en 3 van klinische testen, zijn wij op zoek naar een Chief Operating Officer US. De US operations, opgericht in 2000, telt 70 werknemers en heeft een omzet van EUR 10 Mio (1/3 van de omzet wereldwijd).
Functiebeschrijving:
De Chief Operating Officer zal het algemeen management voor de US operations op zich nemen. Dit houdt ondermeer het ontwikkelen van nieuwe strategie?n en tactieken in om farmaceutische en biotechnische bedrijven te contracteren. De uitdaging bestaat erin om over een periode van 5 jaar het aanwezige marktpotentieel te ontwikkelen en de omzet met 30 ? 40% te laten groeien. De bedoeling is om na een periode van 3 jaar in een expatriate statuut, de functie van President in het HQ te Belgi? over te nemen.
Profiel:
- Universitaire opleiding: PhD of economische opleiding
- ervaring met met het aansturen van grote teams in een farmacontext: Sales & Marketing, Clinical Research, Business Development...
- ervaring in CRO/Central Labs is een plus, kennis ervan is vereist
- talenkennis: Nederlands, Frans, perfect Engels
- sterke networking skills, extravert en proactief.
