Clinical Field Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

 

The Clinical Field Specialist will assist the company and our clinical sites in the conduct of research trials by providing clinical training and education to physicians, allied staff and company representatives on our cardiology products.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

 Provide clinical training to physicians and allied staff on the clinical use of medical devices within the context of investigational trials. Provide ongoing case support to Investigational Sites. Provide documentation on site performance, DFU and protocol compliance Develop and maintain relationships with Investigator community by providing ongoing education and clinical expertise regarding the use of cardiology products. Supports ongoing teaching and training in protocol related issues. Monitor investigational site enrollment numbers and provide action plans to maintain compliance. Ensures accurate inventory of investigational devices.Attends investigator meetings, conferences and/or other relevant meetings.Supports company goals and objectives, policies and procedures. Follows Good Clinical Practice and FDA regulations.

 

Job Qualifications:

 BS degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, RN or other technical discipline3-5 years of clinical training experience in a cardiac catheterization lab is requiredExperience with prior clinical support trials for cardiovascular medical devices is preferredWillingness to travel 60% - 80% and to be available for emergency site 24x7 support The ability to provide presentations to physicians, staff and peers is requiredMust be familiar with O.R. procedures and medical terminologyMust be familiar with laws, regulations, standards and guidance governing the conduct of clinical studies Must have excellent knowledge of cardiology and our competition?s productsComputer skills in: PowerPoint, Word and ExcelThe ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines is essential
