Clinical Pharmacologist (Manager/Assoc Dir/Director)

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacologist to join our growing team in Princeton, New Jersey.

 

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic (PK/PD), and biopharmaceutics studies for investigational new drugs.

 

Responsibilities include:

? Conducting drug interaction, renal impairment, OTc, and mass balance studies, as well as managing ascending doses in Phase I;

? Reviewing and evaluating clinical study safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetic data to determine correlation with safety concerns;

? Creating and analyzing PK/PD data using modeling and analytical computer software;

? Conducting the pharmacological evaluation of test agents in representative in vivo models of disease;

? Establishing in house expertise in animal models relevant to testing efficacy and safety of human antibodies to generating in vitro and in vivo data to support IND filing for product candidates;

? Collaborating effectively with internal team members to define and meet study related objectives, assuring alignment with corporate objectives.

 

Qualifications:

? PhD in pharmacology or related field, with a minimum of 5 years relevant biotech/pharma industry experience.

? Demonstrated success in technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others, and independent thought, as well as strong expertise and knowledge of scientific principles and concepts (including preclinical pharmacokinetics, PK/PD relationships, metabolism, bioanalytical processes, toxicokinetics, and in vitro and in vivo techniques applying to these concepts).

? Advanced computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and WinNonlin, with excellent data management and organizational skills, including the ability to work with SAS data files and Excel databases.

? Positive attitude and flexibility combined with high level of initiative and the ability and desire to work effectively in a rapidly changing entrepreneurial environment.
