Clinical SAS Programmer

McCallion Staffing is working with a pharmaceutical company, located in?Horsham Pa. Below is the what the qualified candidates need to have to be considered for the position.

?SAS programming support for various multidisciplinary project teams. Ability to work on multiple protocols simultaneously. Demonstrates strong SAS programming skills and technical problem solving capabilities.? Primary responsibilities include the production of analysis datasets and specifications, well-documented SAS code, summary tables, figures, listings and statistical analyses for efficacy and safety as well as providing edit checks, data review listings, validation and review of key results.

Advanced knowledge of the SAS language including SAS BASE, STAT, GRAPH, ODS, and MACRO using Windows. Experience with Oracle databases and SQL is preferred.? Basic knowledge of statistics and clinical trial design. Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written) and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with medical personnel, clinical monitors, data managers, other programmers, statisticians and medical writers. Demonstrated skills and experience supporting a pharmaceutical statistical department in analyzing data from clinical trials. Knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel).
At least 3-5 years pharmaceutical experience as a SAS programmer supporting clinical trials. Mid to Senior level SAS Programmer.
BS/BA degree or above in life sciences, statistics, mathematic, computer science or related field preferred.
