Clinical Team Lead

Clinical Team Lead Description: Volt is a Fortune 1000 company who specializes in professional placement. We are seeking a Clinical Team Lead. This role is responsible for the supervision of laboratory staff and manages team operations. Monitor study workflow and processes and maximize quality, accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency. Supervises method development activities for the team and troubleshoots problems arising during method development. Stays aware of and advances the scientific understanding of the work supervised.

This individual will coordinate method development/validation operations for the team to ensure timely completion of validation in accordance with written protocols. They will assign teams members to perform and complete projects. The development of SOPs, forms, and processes to facilitate efficient and high quality work. The Team Lead will supervise/conduct laboratory investigations and implement corrective and preventative action as appropriate. They will troubleshoot method development activities and direct them as needed.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree the life sciences, chemistry or equivalent in a related field of study and a minimum of 4 years experience in Bioanalytical method development; minimum of 2 years supervisory experience a plus!

A working knowledge of statistics.

A working knowledge of Watson LIMS.

Performs all duties in accordance SOPs, government regulations and Good laboratory Practice.

Take the responsibility of reviewing scientific literature and maintain of knowledge of current practices and trends that are relevant to the laboratory.

The ability to design, develops, engage in, and supervise projects.

The ability to apply basic mathematical concepts necessary to prepare reagents and dilutions, prepare standard curves and quality control samples, and other relevant routine laboratory tasks
