Computational Biologist

Description: We are currently recruiting for a computational biologist to join our molecular informatics team.

The responsibilities of the position will emphasize large-scale genomic data analysis, deriving specific gene expression profiles or signatures of toxicity leading to the discovery of implicated molecular pathways and/or biomarkers.

Working within project teams, the role holder will propose mechanisms and pathways induced by perturbations that will be tested by additional experimentation; model and analyze comprehensive cellular pathway data sets in order to extend analyses of expression data; collaborate with other scientific and development teams to design novel approaches and/or tools suitable for gene expression analysis and network modeling.

These goals will be accomplished in part through integration of information from genomic, proteomic, screening, and chemical databases as well as the application of computational, statistical, inference and visualization techniques.
