Yoh Scientific is currently working with a large pharmaceutical client located in Wilmington, DE.Their current openings include 1 Medical Technologist to work in the Pathology Department. This is a contract position expected to last at least 9 months. Qualified candidates please email resume and contact information.
Job Description:Label tubes, process, and aliquot rodent and canine samples submitted to the Clinical Pathology Laboratory.Perform routine analysis of rodent and canine samples.Analysis includes routine hematology, clinical chemistry, coagulation, and urinalysis.Timely processing & sample evaluation of hematology, clinical chemistry, coagulation, and urine samples.Perform a medium to high throughput bone marrow cell line assay using a robotics system.Help develop and validate medium throuput rat and human bone marrow, culture primary cell line assays using a robotics system.
Candidate Qualifications/Experience:
Candidates must have a BA or BS in Medical Technology or related field. Multitasking and ability to handle a fast-paced environment are required. Experience with hematology, clinical chemistry, coagulation, and urinalysis testing of samples is preferred.
