DMPK Scientist

We are currently looking for a DMPK Scientist (job code: DMPKS) who will be responsible for drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic studies required for pre-clinical development.

Responsibilities include the conduct of rodent and non-rodent ADME studies, drug metabolite identification, and P450 enzyme interaction studies. In addition, this candidate will perform toxicokinetic analysis for non-clinical toxicology studies and pre-clinical PK/PD analysis as well as manage external contracted studies and provide support for research and clinical PK studies.

Requirements for this position include a Ph.D. in Pharmacokinetics, Drug Metabolism or a related discipline with 7-12 years relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. In depth knowledge of PK/PD principles and demonstrated accomplishments in drug development are needed. Hands-on experience designing, analyzing and interpreting drug metabolism and PK studies is essential. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an established ability to collaborate effectively with other scientists in a multidisciplinary environment.
