Director, Managed Markets Training & Development

Position Description
The Director, Managed Markets Training & Development will work closely with senior level executives in Managed Markets Sales and US Sales to assist in the design, development, and implementation of Managed Markets Training & Development for the Field Force and Home Office Staff. Work cross functionally with all areas of sales and area training, field sales leadership (Primary Care & Specialty), and home office personnel to ensure quality training that meets the business unit needs.

Stay abreast of upcoming issues in the Managed Markets arena and pharmaceutical industry trends to analyze the impact on the Field Force. Design, development, and implementation of the most efficient means to train the Field Force on any upcoming issues. Maintain current resources such as website development and skills workshops.

Create a curriculum for initial and ongoing training and development that will provide a timely and consistent foundation for the Managed Markets Field Force. The curriculum will focus on development for current roles and future opportunities. Develop metrics and surveys that will serve as benchmarks of our current situation and best demonstrated industry practices regarding Training, Continuous Learning, and Career Development.

Job Requirements
Bachelors degree is required; MBA a plus. A minimum of 6-8 years of successful pharmaceutical experience (Field Sales/National/Regional Management, Customer Marketing Management). Training experience preferred. Must possess strong presentation, communication, and leadership skills coupled with a sense of urgency and focus.
