Director, Project Services

Description:

 

The Director of Project Services will have responsibility for managing and directing several ongoing projects in addition to new business development.  In this role, the incumbent will have specific responsibilities for project management, project administration, and project delivery of validation, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, product development, technology transfer, regulatory affairs, and management consulting services.  The Director of Project Services will ensure compliance with applicable policies of Protocol Link, the client, industry practices, and cGMP regulations, while managing projects.  The incumbent will prepare and submit proposals within scope of the company?s services to current and new clients.  The Director of Project Services will also have responsibility for timely project resource allocation to manage project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget, creating technical templates for use in project control efforts, tracking of key project activities and deliverables, and reviewing and approving project status reports, timesheets, expense reports, cost summaries, and project invoices.  This position requires an individual to effectively interact with our clients, internal company staff, as well as project personnel at all levels.  Substantial travel on an as needed basis is required.

 

Experience:

 

? Bachelor?s degree in a science or engineering field (advanced degree preferred).

? Ten years of management experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or device industry.

? Advanced project management skills.

? Ability to write complex technical reports using appropriate business format.

? Able to propose solutions to various problems and direct problem-solving activities accordingly.

? Must be able to analyze and interpret complex data and infer valid conclusions.

? Ability to manage multiple projects within scope, schedule, and budget.

? Experience with facility, utility, equipment, and process validation in aseptic processing and/or solid dosage manufacturing.

? Must be able to work in an entrepreneurial, dynamic, and fast-changing environment.

? High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.

? Excellent verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills required.

? Must be detail orientated and have excellent organizational skills.
