Director, Supply Chain, Procurement & Customer Service

Pall Medical, a leading manufacturer of blood processing devices with operations in Covina and Mexico is seeking an experienced Director for Supply Chain, Procurement and Customer Service.

 

Responsibilities:Plans, leads & directs the Cost Savings initiative to continuously reduce costs through process improvement, contract implementation & inventory reduction while improving on current levels of service & quality to customer.Further develops the Freight/Logistics/Transportation organization to support evolving requirements of the Covina/TJ facilities.Takes an active role in Purchasing & Supply strategy creation, development and implementation.Participates on global teams as procurement expert for site function.Manages the Customer Service group to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction through performance on key metrics.  Works with marketing and sales to meet on time shipment performance & ensure forcasting accuracy.Develop & deploy supply chain strategies to optimize revenue growth, customer service & inventory deployment.

 

Requirements:Bachelors degree from 4 year college in Business, Supply Chain or relevent studies.5-10 years Supply Chain and/or Logistics experience.Experience in FDA regulated industry.Certified through the National Association of Purchasing Management (NAPM), CPM or American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), CPIM/CIRM. TQM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Black Belt or other continuous improvement methodology experience preferred.Frequent travel to Tijuana, Mexico faciltiy and other Pall Corporation sites.Postion may be located near Covina, CA or San Diego, CA.Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MAPICS, MS Project and others)
