Director of Clinical Affairs - Nationwide Search Medical Device

Our client is an exciting global company focused on applying microsphere technology to medical applications using embolotherapy techniques.  The Company?s core technologies consist of bio-engineered polymers, which are chemical compounds created through the application to medical science of engineering principles and manufacturing methods.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The qualified candidate will be responsible for worldwide clinical aspects of the corporation.  This includes working with the Sr. Director of Regulatory Affairs/QA to obtain the necessary regulatory approvals to market the corporation?s medical devices worldwide, as well as, managing all clinical affairs activities for the Company.  The main focus will be on the clinical side which includes post market clinicals.

?  The candidate must have very strong proven clinical experience

?  The candidate must be able to work within a fast paced working environment

?  The candidate must have the ability to demonstrate that he/she has held leadership roles and has worked with cross-functional teams

?  A diplomatic aggressive ?take charge? management style will fit the Company?s culture

?  The candidate must be able to meet tight deadlines

 

REQUIREMENTS

 The Company is seeking a professional with a hands-on approachEducation ? Masters Degree in Engineering or Biological Science preferred5-7 years of experience in the implantable medical device industry preferably in the implantable/interventional medical device industryRelevant experience with U.S. and International submissionsTravel ? 25%
