ENGINEER 3

Description:
Complete responsibility for mechanical/HVAC system design in a lead engineering role on projects. Development of system concepts, calculations, system sizing and selection, specifications, technical reports, client and project team communications and coordination, services during construction and system commissioning. Responsible for developing and adhering to design budgets. Provide direction to design team and comply with project and client requirements.

Position can be based in either Albany, NY or Hudson, MA.

Qualifications:
experience in airside and wetside HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system design in a lead engineering role. Ability for independent evaluation, selection, and application of engineering techniques. Use of judgement and ingenuity in the solution of engineering problems. Responsibility for engineering design budgets. Ability to provide guidance to designers, drafters and other engineers. Ability to accurately estimate and forecast design effort and coordinate with project team across disciplines. Effective verbal and written communications skills.
