Electronics Technician

CDI, the on-site recruiting group for our client, is currently searching for talented people to join their successful organization. Our client is currently looking to add a Electronics Technician to their team.

 

 

 

 

The incumbent will:

 

Provide Electronic Troubleshooting and Technician support to Engineers as necessary.  Tasks involve troubleshooting and maintenance of newly designed embedded electronics.  The assembly and maintenance of Test Stations and the execution of Functional Test Procedures on these newly designed electronics. 


Required Skills:
  Ability to troubleshoot and debug high speed embedded electronics down to the component level
  Must Have experience with  fine pitch service mount rework and repair
  Ability to read Schematics
  Ability to execute Functional Testing on Electronics Assemblies.
  Excellent Laboratory skills, use of appropriate Electronics Test Equipment, DMM's, Oscilloscopes, etc.
  Good Organizational Skills.
  SMT Rework Capability.
  Ability to Build Cables from drawings and from first article.
  Ability to construct Electromechanical Test Assemblies from drawings.
  Familiarity with use and operation of Windows based PCs for Testings
  VBASIC or Labview Programming experience a plus

 

This is a contract position for 1+ year.
