Initiate and manage projects to continuously develop and improve existing processes and overall operation within the guidelines set by the Quality System. Recommend new technologies and capital equipment purchases that improve overall manufacturing operations. Using lean manufacturing and six sigma principles, improve product reliability/quality, reduce assembly cycle time, and reduce costs.

Education: BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Biological or Chemical Sciences.

Experience: 5+ years of directly related experience. Must have at least 2+ years in pharmaceutical, diagnostic or medical device. Understanding of GMP and FDA requirements.

Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills. Background in lean manufacturing or six sigma a plus.
